Book Values - Kelley Blue Book

Kelley Blue Book was a source I frequented often. Probably because it's general consensus of figures being, high. Signifigantly higher in some cases than the other sources. Most salesman would agree. I usually looked to KBB if I was trying to make things look a bit better on paper than they really were. As far as the vehicles you may be looking at buying I would take the values with a grain of salt. I think their retail figures are quite inflated. They will probably come in closer to a lot of "asking prices" and not what that model is really bringing at that point in time. In regards to the figure they offer for average trade value. It should be pretty close. Pretty easy to find what you are looking for in there too. You can find what you are looking for by year, make, and model. Retail vs. Trade-in and so on. This has been one of the industry standards for years and will continue to be for many more.
